8/29/11
OOOPS where is my daughter???? I think summer fun has got in the way!

8/15/11
Slow getting back into it after time off but still working out 3 times a week.

8/8/11
To Vegas and back....without gaining a pound! She didnt work out at all while she was there, she did do a lot of walking, and didnt eat as well as she should have but her metabolism has been boosted so much from working out 5 days a week and eating well that she was able to splurge while she was vacationing! Now she is ready to hit it again!

8/1/11
Just a few more days to Vegas! We discussed what she should eat and that she would be walking every where and the fact that she has been working hard and eating well. A few binges would not undo everything she has been working hard to achieve.

7/18/11
Been working hard, she is going to Las Vegas soon and wants to look even more awsome!
One thing that she will tell you is that BREATHING (exhaling deeply) has made the most difference in her inches lost on her waist, she was skeptical at first, as is everyone of breathing so loudly, but it makes the biggest difference!
Once you start working your transverse abdominis(TA) by breathing you will know what I mean the inches will just widdle away because you are strengthening your TA by breathing.

And just for fun (her measure date is a few weeks away) we measured her waist again she lost another 1 1/2 inches!!!!

6/21/11
Well here we are at week 7 already, we measured and did skin fold test again to see what her lean body mass is now and it went from 129 pounds of lean body mass to 144 pounds of lean body mass. She has lost 4 inches in her waist, 2 inches off her chest, 1 inch from her hips and 3 inches from her thighs.

She is so happy this is what she said to me this morning "I am super duper happy that we measured me yesterday!!! I am so happy with the results!!!! It motivates me even more to exercise! I love it! Thank you so much for all the time you have spent working out with me!!!"

We have been working out for several weeks now and she is seeing progress and she is very happy!
Her clothes are fitting better, she has more energy, she has lost inches and weight; she also can do more exercises and workout longer, so her endurance is up!
She came to the conclusion that she needs to eat a little better, because she hasnt lost much weight, and she is correct, breaking and changing eating patterns can be difficult at first. Check out my recipe page there are some great recipes on there, with more to come now that summer is almost here!

My daughter has come to me and requested that I help her become a healthier and fit person. Well being a personal trainer I think I might just be able to help her. I told her it is a lifestyle its not just about working out its about eating well too. She said yes I am ready!
She is not obese or over weight, she just wants to loose a few pounds and to be healthy and fit!

So we did an assessment, measured, and did skin folds on her.

I designed several work outs for her to progress as she becomes stronger.

I am starting her out slow even though she has always been active, she hasn't worked out in several months.
She is so excited and has been since I started taking classes at National Personal Training Institute in Portland Oregon, it was a great class and I am excited to have graduated and to have become a personal trainer!

So follow along as we track her progress!!!
